Medical Oncologist – Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and evaluate patients with suspected or confirmed cancer.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines.
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy.
- Assess treatment response and modify treatment plans as required.
- Manage treatment-related side effects and oncologic emergencies.
- Coordinate patient care with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists.
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, risks, prognosis, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings and clinical discussions.
Pay: ₹6,000,000.00 - ₹7,000,000.00 per year
