Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, repairs, vendor management, and procurement activities of the hotel. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are maintained in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the day-to-day maintenance and repair requirements of the hotel.
- Oversee electrical, plumbing, civil, carpentry, HVAC, kitchen equipment, and general maintenance works.
- Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate with internal technicians and external vendors/service providers for maintenance and repair works.
- Manage and maintain good relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Handle purchase and procurement of maintenance materials, spare parts, tools, equipment, and other required supplies.
- Maintain proper records of vendors, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, AMC/service agreements, and maintenance expenses.
- Monitor vendor performance, service quality, timelines, and adherence to agreed terms.
- Maintain adequate stock of essential maintenance materials and spare parts.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises and identify maintenance requirements proactively.
- Coordinate with management for approvals related to maintenance, repairs, purchases, and vendor appointments.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain records of equipment servicing, AMC schedules, preventive maintenance, and repair history.
- Attend to urgent and emergency maintenance requirements and ensure quick resolution.
- Coordinate with different departments to understand and resolve maintenance-related issues.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in hotel/hospitality maintenance or facility management is preferred.
- Good knowledge of general building maintenance, repairs, and equipment handling.
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, and procurement skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance activities and resolve issues efficiently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency maintenance situations.
Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
