Summary:
As a Senior Microsoft Azure AI Foundry Architect, you will design, develop, and implement enterprise AI, cloud, and data solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services. The role requires extensive expertise in AI/ML platform architecture, Generative AI solutions, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI application development, and intelligent automation using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Cognitive Services.
The architect will design scalable and secure AI platforms, implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, develop AI-powered applications, and integrate intelligent capabilities into enterprise systems. Strong expertise in prompt engineering, vector databases, AI governance, cloud-native development, DevOps practices, and enterprise AI solution architecture is required to deliver secure and high-performing AI solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure AI Foundry solutions for Generative AI and AI-powered applications.
2. Architect AI platforms using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Cognitive Services.
3. Develop and deploy Generative AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI agent frameworks.
4. Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions integrating enterprise data sources with AI applications.
5. Build AI workflows using Azure AI Foundry tools, AI agents, models, and orchestration frameworks.
6. Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
7. Design and implement secure AI architectures following Azure security, governance, and compliance best practices.
8. Develop and optimize prompts, embeddings, vector search solutions, and knowledge retrieval pipelines.
9. Implement intelligent information retrieval solutions using Azure AI Search, vector databases, and enterprise data platforms.
10. Manage AI model lifecycle activities including monitoring, evaluation, deployment, and performance optimization.
11. Collaborate with data engineers, cloud architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise AI solutions.
12. Implement Responsible AI practices including security, transparency, compliance, governance, and risk management.
13. Develop APIs and backend services to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
14. Implement CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices for AI solution development and deployment.
15. Monitor AI application performance using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Azure Machine Learning tools.
16. Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentoring to AI engineering teams.
Professional & Technical Skills:
1. 10–12+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Enterprise Application Development.
2. Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure AI Foundry for designing, developing, deploying, and managing Generative AI solutions.
3. Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, GPT models, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI agents.
4. Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, model evaluation, and AI application design.
5. Experience designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and enterprise knowledge-based AI applications.
6. Strong knowledge of Azure AI Search, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge retrieval architectures.
7. Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent technologies.
8. Strong understanding of Azure AI services including Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Search, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Document Intelligence, Azure Language Services, and Azure Vision Services.
9. Experience integrating AI solutions with Azure services including Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Cosmos DB.
10. Experience building and deploying AI-powered applications, chatbots, virtual assistants, and intelligent automation solutions.
11. Knowledge of MLOps practices including AI model lifecycle management, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
12. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Git.
13. Strong understanding of cloud security concepts including Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, encryption, and data protection.
14. Experience implementing Responsible AI principles, AI governance frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
15. Knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns, serverless computing, APIs, and microservices.
16. Experience working with enterprise data platforms, data integration solutions, and analytics environments.
17. Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
18. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 14 years of experience in Microsoft Azure AI foundry.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
