An Aesthetic Physician specializes in performing non-invasive and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures aimed at enhancing physical appearance. The role involves patient consultation, diagnosis of skin and aesthetic concerns, and delivering safe, effective treatments while maintaining high medical and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient consultations to understand aesthetic goals and medical history
- Assess skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans
- Perform cosmetic procedures such as:
- Botulinum toxin (e.g., Botox) injections
- Dermal fillers
- Chemical peels
- Laser treatments
- Skin rejuvenation therapies
- Ensure patient safety, informed consent, and proper documentation
- Manage pre- and post-procedure care, including follow-ups
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and clinical protocols
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine
- Handle and respond to any complications or adverse reactions
Required Qualifications
- MBBS
- Valid medical license/registration
- Certification or training in aesthetic/cosmetic procedures
- Prior experience in aesthetic medicine preferred
