DESCRIPTION:
Join our R&D team as a Hardware Test Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll contribute to advancing scientific innovation. You'll be responsible for comprehensive verification and validation testing of sophisticated laboratory instruments and automation systems. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly impact our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer through scientific solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Conduct product-level testing using Ion Chromatography (IC) or High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).

Liaise with various instrument vendors for the installation and calibration of new instruments, as well as the preparation of IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation.

Perform preventive maintenance on analytical instruments within the laboratory.

Detect, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in product performance.

Capture lab-related capital and operational expenditure plans, including ordering materials and managing supplies.

Participate in product design review meetings.

Develop and enhance standards and procedures for testing.

Troubleshoot both software (Chromeleon) and hardware issues based on testing results for analytical instruments such as IC, GC, HPLC, and LC-MS.
Preferred profile : Ion Chromatography Service Engineer
Experience required – 3 to 6 years
Duration of project / support required – 2 Years
- Prior experience in servicing IC, HPLC is mandatory
