The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
- Developing front end website architecture.
- Designing user interactions on web pages.
- Developing back-end website CMS.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
- Ensuring responsiveness of website.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
- Integrating third party APIs with website and database.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as PHP, WordPress, Dotnet, Magento, etc.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science/ BSC IT or equivalent
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Understanding of fully synchronous behaviour of PHP
- Experience in Core PHP & WordPress is Mandatory
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3
- Understanding of database keys is must
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook etc)
- Understanding of open-source projects like WordPress
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the old websites and applications to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Excellent writing & verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
