Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Node.js Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in JavaScript and backend development, with hands-on experience in building RESTful services using Node.js and Express.js.
Required Skillsets
Core Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+ features)
- Hands-on experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in Git and version control workflows
Good to Have:
- Basic understanding of React.js or other frontend frameworks
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
- Knowledge of API security best practices
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product teams
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate actively in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability
