Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Aerospace V&V Program Manager to lead end-to-end Verification & Validation (V&V) programs for safety-critical aerospace systems.
The role will be responsible for managing project scope, schedules, deliverables, cost, risks, and multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with aerospace safety and certification standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754A.
Key Responsibilities
Program / Project Leadership
- Define and manage V&V project scope, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering, quality, certification, and supplier teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed time, cost, quality, and scope.
- Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Manage customer requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Technical & V&V Oversight
- Oversee platform-level Verification & Validation activities.
- Define and drive test strategies, automation, and certification readiness.
- Ensure complete requirements-to-test traceability and test evidence.
- Provide technical direction on V&V processes for safety-critical aerospace systems.
- Drive adoption of advanced approaches such as AI-driven test automation and Zero Touch V&V.
Compliance & Certification
- Ensure adherence to aerospace standards including:
- DO-178B/C
- DO-254
- ARP4754A
- Support preparation of certification documentation/dossiers.
- Interface with certification authorities and support SOI audits.
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation activities for safety-critical systems.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary interface with customers, senior leadership, suppliers, partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Present project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to senior management.
- Coordinate with suppliers and partners to ensure successful integrated V&V delivery.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within V&V.
- Explore digital twins and model-based evidence approaches.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
- Mentor engineering teams on aerospace V&V best practices.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Aerospace V&V / Verification & Validation.
- Strong knowledge of DO-178B/C.
- Experience with DO-254.
- Knowledge of ARP4754A.
- Strong understanding of V&V and software/hardware development processes.
- Experience in platform-level V&V, not just application-level testing.
- Project/Program Management experience in complex engineering environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project for project planning and scheduling.
- Experience creating management dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
- Awareness of Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Strong risk management and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
- PMP certification.
- Experience managing safety-critical aerospace programs.
- Experience working with certification authorities and SOI audits.
- Exposure to AI-driven testing, test automation, digital twins, and model-based engineering.
- Experience managing large, multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder programs.
