Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, project execution, technical coordination, site activities, material planning, quality control, and ensuring that projects are completed as per approved specifications, drawings, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review mechanical drawings, layouts, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other project teams.
- Handle project execution and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site visits, measurements, inspections, and technical assessments.
- Prepare material requirements, BOQs, quantity calculations, and technical comparison statements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement of mechanical materials and equipment.
- Monitor installation, fabrication, testing, commissioning, and site execution activities.
- Ensure proper quality standards and safety procedures are followed at the project site.
- Identify technical issues and provide suitable engineering solutions.
- Review vendor drawings, material specifications, and technical submittals.
- Maintain project records, reports, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with the project team to meet deadlines.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and technical quotations whenever required.
- Ensure proper coordination between design, procurement, production, and site execution teams.
- Attend client and consultant meetings and provide technical support.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Good knowledge of material selection, fabrication, installation, and testing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Educational Qualification
B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, project execution, fabrication, installation, or site work.
- Candidates with experience in construction, façade, building materials, manufacturing, or project execution will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
