Job Title: Project Site Supervisor

Reporting To: Project Manager / Project Engineer
Location: Project Site(s) – As Assigned
Objective:
To oversee day-to-day operations at fire protection project sites, ensuring proper workforce management, material tracking, progress reporting, problem resolution, and communication, in line with company standards and project timelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Attendance Monitoring
- Reach on site at 9.30am
- Ensure all workers, technicians, and subcontractors mark and confirm their attendance on Zoho or assigned system daily.
- Mark their own attendance on Zoho
- Verify and approve attendance before 11:00 AM and reconfirm after 6:00 PM.
- Report any irregularities, absenteeism, or manpower shortages immediately to the Project Manager.
- Maintain a backup attendance sheet manually or via WhatsApp in case of app issues.
2. Site Project Details & Updates
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the ongoing work scope, drawings, BOQ, and schedule at the project site.
- Provide daily updates on site activities via WhatsApp or email to the Project Team.
- Ensure work is progressing as per the approved design and client specifications.
- Conduct and report daily site walkthroughs to check work alignment.
3. Work Front (Chaal) Progress, Updates & Targets
- Visit 3 Sites necessary
- Report In and out time of own reporting to thr Project Manager
- Maintain a “Daily Work Progress Log” detailing the current work fronts, labor deployment, and completed quantities.
- Ensure work is executed as per daily/weekly target plans shared by the Project Engineer.
- Identify delays and escalate issues hampering progress.
- Coordinate with other teams/trades to ensure proper sequencing and non-obstruction of work.
4. Material Update & Delivery Challan (DC) Receipts
- Verify all incoming materials at the site against DCs and update the Store or Inventory team immediately.
- Maintain records (photo + signed DC copy) for all received materials.
- Inform Project Manager and Inventory team about any shortages or damage during delivery.
- Site Material update on whatsapp and Material requisition
- Ensure safe unloading, storage, and tagging of materials.
5. Problem Identification & Resolution
- Identify technical, logistic, or manpower-related site issues proactively.
- Raise site-related problems or material requirements in advance to avoid work delays.
- Escalate critical issues (drawing mismatch, space constraints, non-availability of approvals) to the Project Engineer/Manager.
- Follow up on pending RFIs or instructions from consultants/clients.
6. Documentation
- Maintain proper records of:
- Daily Progress Reports (DPR)
- Labor attendance sheets
- Site photos (before, during, after work)
- Material receipt and consumption logs
- Client/consultant instructions and approvals
- Submit signed checklists, reports, and updates to the Project Manager weekly.
- Ensure all documentation is organized digitally (Google Drive/WhatsApp) and physically (file at site).
7. Communication
- Act as the first point of contact between TFPC and the client/site representatives for daily coordination.
- Maintain professional and clear communication with all stakeholders: Clients, Consultants, Internal Teams.
- Participate in site meetings and report back minutes of meeting to the Project Manager.
- Respond promptly to calls, messages, or task updates shared via WhatsApp or other platforms.
- Share status updates on any critical decisions, instructions, or approvals received from client/consultant.
- Be available on Emergency time.
Daily Reporting Checklist (to be sent by 6:00 PM):
- Attendance status (with remarks if any)
- Photos of work fronts
- Progress summary (quantities, area, levels covered)
- Material updates (received/required)
- Problem log (if any)
- Instructions received or changes made
- Next day's planned work
Key Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of fire fighting systems (Sprinkler, Hydrant, Pump Room)
- Effective communication and coordination
- Documentation and digital literacy (WhatsApp, Google Sheets, basic MS Office)
- Leadership and conflict resolution
- Time management and reporting discipline
Pay: ₹10,073.87 - ₹25,349.42 per month
