The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance, safety, functionality, and efficiency of the organization's facilities. This role ensures that buildings, equipment, infrastructure, and support services operate effectively while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Manage hospital infrastructure, utilities, and facility operations to ensure uninterrupted services.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and other critical systems.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Supervise housekeeping, security, maintenance staff, and external vendors/contractors.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and coordinate repairs, renovations, and improvement projects.
- Monitor utility consumption, maintenance budgets, and cost-control initiatives.
- Maintain facility records, licenses, certifications, and compliance documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness, fire safety programs, and hospital quality initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field
Proven experience as a Facility Manager, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
