Job Description
Rootwise Aesthetics is seeking a dedicated Aesthetic Physician (MBBS – Cosmetology) to join our clinic in RS Puram, Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will possess sound clinical judgment along with practical experience in non-surgical aesthetic procedures. You will be responsible for patient consultations, developing customized treatment plans, and delivering safe, evidence-based cosmetic interventions that align with patient expectations and clinical protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to understand aesthetic goals, medical history, and contraindications.
- Diagnose skin, hair, and body conditions and recommend appropriate cosmetic or medical treatments.
- Perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures including:
- Chemical peels
- Botulinum toxin (Botox) and dermal fillers
- Skin boosters and mesotherapy
- Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for hair and skin
- Microneedling / Derma roller
- Mesoporation
- Laser hair reduction
- Skin tightening and pigmentation correction
- Scar revision (including acne scars)
- Non-invasive body contouring
- Provide thorough pre-procedure and post-procedure care instructions.
- Maintain accurate, updated patient records and treatment documentation.
- Adhere to strict infection control, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor patient progress, manage follow-ups, and address any adverse events promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the Clinic Manager and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in aesthetic medicine.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: MBBS degree from a recognized university. A postgraduate diploma or certification in Cosmetology / Aesthetic Medicine is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in aesthetic procedures; fresh MBBS graduates with strong cosmetology internship exposure may also be considered.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Calm, professional bedside manner with patient-centric focus.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our RS Puram, Coimbatore clinic.
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Prior experience in a dedicated aesthetic or skin clinic.
- Working knowledge of Tamil for effective patient communication.
