Vice Principal – Classes I to V
The Vice Principal (Primary) supports the Principal in managing the academic and administrative functions of the primary section. The role focuses on ensuring CBSE compliance, fostering effective teaching practices, and creating a safe, engaging environment for young learners.
1. Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership
- Implement and monitor the CBSE primary curriculum.
- Supervise lesson planning, classroom delivery, and student assessments.
- Introduce activity-based and child-centered learning methods.
- Conduct teacher observations and provide constructive feedback.
2. Administrative Duties
- Manage daily operations of the primary section like timetables, schedules, classroom allocations.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and CBSE regulations.
- Assist in staff recruitment, induction, and training.
- Prepare reports and updates for the Principal and management.
3. Student Welfare
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Ensure health, hygiene, and safety protocols are followed.
- Encourage participation in sports, arts, and extracurricular activities.
- Address behavioral and developmental concerns with sensitivity.
4. Parent & Community Engagement
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and orientation sessions.
- Build strong relationships between school and Parents
5.Qualifications & Skills
- Postgraduate degree in Education or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of teaching/administrative experience in CBSE schools.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of modern pedagogy and child psychology.
