Roles & Responsibilities
Own end-to-end DAM/PIM asset lifecycle management, ensuring accuracy, taxonomy compliance, and metadata integrity across assigned accounts.
- Lead cataloguing, tagging, and publishing of assets, refining folder taxonomy and naming conventions where gaps are identified.
- Establish metadata validation standards prior to upload and conduct spot audits post-upload to prevent overwriting, blank fields, or inconsistencies.
- Manage complex product-asset linking in PIM, resolving identifier discrepancies (e.g., EAN, ASIN) independently.
- Design and implement duplication-prevention checks across assigned workflows.
- Own DAM/PIM integrity and hygiene for assigned accounts, proactively identifying and resolving structural issues.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between delivered files and briefs, escalating only complex or cross-team issues.
- Oversee asset versioning strategy, ensuring DAM/PIM updates reflect replacements accurately and traceably.
- Track, document, and drive closure of defects across multiple concurrent projects, identifying root causes.
- Define archiving standards for delivered files to optimize searchability and long-term retrieval.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders on upload status, discrepancies, and asset governance questions.
- Apply and interpret quality standards and brand/client guidelines independently, adapting them to new or ambiguous asset types.
- Mentor and support Junior Librarians, reviewing their work and providing guidance on taxonomy, metadata, and QC practices.
- Identify recurring issues across projects and lead process improvement initiatives in partnership with QA and Traffic teams.
- Contribute to documentation and training materials for DAM/PIM workflows.
Ideal Candidate
Strong DAM (Digital Asset Management) / PIM (Product Information Management) Specialist / Digtal Librarian Profile
Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have minimum 1+ years of experience working in Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Librarian or similar roles.
Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have hands-on experience managing digital assets, including uploading, cataloguing, metadata tagging, folder structure management, taxonomy, and asset publishing in DAM/PIM platforms.
Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have experience working with product assets such as images, videos, PDFs, packaging artwork, marketing creatives, or eCommerce content, ensuring asset accuracy and quality.
Mandatory (Experience 4): Must have experience performing quality checks (QC) on digital assets, including metadata validation, duplicate checks, version control, and resolving upload or asset discrepancies.
Mandatory (Experience 5): Must have working knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms and/or Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
Mandatory (Experience 6): Must have good understanding of metadata, taxonomy, file naming conventions, asset organization, and product-asset linking
Mandatory (Experience 7): Must have working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft packages for managing digital assets, reviewing files, and supporting DAM/PIM workflows.
Mandatory (Experience 8): Must have excellent English communication skills with experience coordinating with internal teams or global stakeholders.
Preferred (Experience 1): Experience using project management tools such as Workfront, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
Preferred (Experience 2): Experience working with digital and eCommerce assets, including product images, marketing creatives, packaging artwork, or other digital content.
Preferred (Experience 3): Experience with automation or AI-enabled workflows within DAM and/or PIM platform
Preferred (Experience 4): Experience creating or contributing to training, onboarding documentation, SOPs, or mentoring junior team members
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
