Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students, understanding their career goals, and helping them choose the right courses. The role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for counselling and admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding courses and career opportunities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to generate admissions.
- Follow up with leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Explain course details, fees, and admission procedures.
- Maintain accurate student records and update the CRM regularly.
- Achieve monthly admission targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for smooth student onboarding.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Assist in admission-related documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in academic counselling, sales, customer support, or a related field.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
