Job Summary
The Warehouse & Purchase Executive is responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory control, material receiving, stock movement, vendor coordination, and procurement activities. The role ensures timely availability of materials, proper stock maintenance, cost control, and smooth coordination between suppliers, stores, and operations teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Management
- Monitor daily warehouse operations and stock movement.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials/products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Excel/software systems.
- Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory audits.
- Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO stock rotation practices.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse.
- Coordinate with operations, kitchen, production, or store teams for material requirements.
Purchase & Procurement
- Handle day-to-day purchasing activities and vendor coordination.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Compare quotations and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure quality and quantity verification during material receipt.
- Maintain procurement records, invoices, and documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternate vendors.
- Track pending orders and delivery schedules.
Inventory Control
- Monitor stock consumption and reorder levels.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Reduce wastage, damage, and inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate stock transfers between branches/locations if required.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain GRN, invoices, stock registers, and purchase records.
- Prepare MIS reports related to inventory and procurement.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation compliance.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, Logistics, or related field.
- Additional certification in Inventory or Procurement is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Warehouse, Stores, Inventory, or Purchase operations.
- Experience in QSR, Hotel, Restaurant, Retail, FMCG, or Manufacturing industry preferred.
