We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to support daily accounting and financial operations. The candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, handling invoices, and supporting the accounts team with bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and entries
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payment vouchers
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
- Assist in GST, TDS, and tax-related documentation
- Maintain petty cash records and expense tracking
- Support monthly and yearly financial closing activities
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents
- Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
