Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our hospital nursing team. The candidate should have a valid Nursing Registration Certificate and 1–2 years of relevant hospital experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols and standards.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, clinical condition, and treatment progress.
- Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
- Assist doctors during procedures, examinations, and emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, patient charts, medication records, and other documentation.
- Handle and monitor patients in ICU, NICU, and Labour Room as per assigned duty.
- Have basic knowledge of ICU monitoring, emergency care, and patient management.
- Assist in Labour Room procedures and provide care to antenatal and postnatal patients.
- Provide appropriate care to newborns and assist in NICU patient management.
- Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and patient safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper functioning of the nursing station and patient care area.
- Communicate effectively with patients, attendants, doctors, and other healthcare staff.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover of patients during shift changes.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow hospital emergency protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration Certificate is mandatory.
- 1–2 years of hospital experience preferred.
- Candidates with experience/knowledge in ICU, NICU, Labour Room, Emergency & General Ward will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including night shifts.
- Responsible, disciplined, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude.
