Job Summary
The LPG Godown Supervisor is responsible for the safe storage, handling, inventory management, and dispatch of LPG cylinders at the gas godown. The role ensures compliance with safety regulations, maintains accurate stock records, supervises loading and unloading activities, and coordinates with delivery and office teams to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the LPG cylinder storage facility.
- Ensure proper receipt, storage, and dispatch of filled and empty cylinders.
- Monitor cylinder movement and maintain stock accuracy.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities with delivery staff and transporters.
- Ensure orderly stacking and storage of cylinders as per safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of filled, empty, defective, and damaged cylinders.
- Conduct daily stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Prepare inventory reports and submit them to management.
- Monitor cylinder shortages, surpluses, and discrepancies.
- Ensure strict adherence to LPG safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct routine inspections of the godown, fire-fighting equipment, and safety systems.
- Ensure cylinders are stored and handled safely.
- Report and address safety hazards immediately.
- Assist during safety audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
- Supervise loaders, helpers, and delivery personnel working in the godown.
- Allocate daily work assignments and monitor productivity.
- Maintain documentation required by regulatory authorities and company policies.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the godown premises.
- Monitor security of cylinders and godown assets.
- Coordinate maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and infrastructure within the godown.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory management, or LPG operations.
- Experience in LPG distribution or gas agency operations preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
