Position Overview:-
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Recording Engineer / Dubbing Engineer with Fresher-4 years of professional studio experience. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in recording, dubbing, and audio fundamentals, along with the ability to handle voice artists efficiently and maintain high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Record and manage voice dubbing/VO sessions with artists.
- Set up microphones, audio interfaces, and studio gear accurately.
- Conduct sound checks and ensure clean, noise-free recordings.
- Guide, cue, and communicate effectively with voice artists during sessions.
- Maintain consistent recording levels and proper gain staging.
- Perform basic editing tasks (breath removal, cuts, comping, etc.).
- Organize sessions, files, and naming structures systematically.
- Ensure all studio equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
- Assist mixing engineers and other technical team members as required.
Required Skills & Audio Fundamentals:-
- Strong understanding of audio engineering principles.
- Expertise in gain staging, mic placement, and room acoustics.
- Good knowledge of signal flow and monitoring levels.
- Hands-on experience with at least one DAW (Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Ableton, etc.).
- Understanding of sample rate, bit depth, and recording formats.
- Familiarity with EQ, compression, noise reduction (basic-to-intermediate level).
- Ability to identify and manage clipping, plosives, sibilance, and unwanted noise.
- Skilled in handling condenser microphones, headphones, preamps, and studio equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Qualification & Experience:-
- Fesher-4 years of experience as a Recording Engineer, Dubbing Engineer, or similar studio role.
- Diploma/Degree/Certification in Audio Engineering or Sound Technology preferred.
