Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have 3–4 years of experience in testing web applications, preferably built using Python Django. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, performance, and reliability of our applications through comprehensive testing and close collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Test Python Django-based web applications across different browsers and devices.
- Identify, document, track, and verify bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand project requirements.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
- Ensure application performance, usability, and data accuracy.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release activities in an Agile environment.
- Maintain testing documentation and prepare test execution reports.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance software quality and testing efficiency.Required Skills
- 3–4 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
- Experience testing web applications developed using Python Django.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
- Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and UAT testing.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and experience testing APIs using Postman.
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation and data verification.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Automation Testing using Selenium with Python.
- Experience with API automation tools.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
