About the Role
Gambitz Designs is looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to oversee and support the planning, execution, and completion of residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between clients, site teams, vendors, and management to ensure smooth project delivery within timelines and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities from initiation to handover.
- Monitor project schedules, timelines, and work progress.
- Communicate with clients regarding updates, approvals, and changes.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure availability of materials, labor, and resources on-site.
- Track project budgets, expenses, and billing schedules.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor quality, safety, and compliance.
- Identify project risks, delays, and suggest corrective actions.
- Manage vendor and supplier coordination for timely procurement.
- Assist in obtaining permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Ensure project execution aligns with company standards and client expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in construction project coordination or site management.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and execution stages.
- Knowledge of estimation, BOQ, and project scheduling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and project tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Valid driving license preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential villa and interior fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of local market rates and vendor management in Kerala.
- Basic understanding of structural drawings and MEP coordination.
- Client handling and relationship management skills.
