Hardware Design & Circuit Analysis (Mandatory):
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Ability to read, analyze, and troubleshoot complex circuit schematics.
- Experience in designing electronic circuits for industrial and IoT products.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or OrCAD.
- Understanding of PCB stack-up, signal integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC considerations, and power distribution.
- Experience in component selection, BOM creation, and design validation.
- Ability to perform hardware bring-up and board-level debugging.
- Experience working with sensors, power supplies, voltage regulators, protection circuits, communication interfaces, and mixed-signal designs.
Embedded Firmware Development:
- Proficient in Embedded C/C++.
- Experience with Arduino, AVR, PIC controllers, ESP32 and/or Nordic nRF52 series microcontrollers.
- Working knowledge of FreeRTOS.
- Experience developing firmware for industrial and IoT applications.
Communication Protocols:
- Strong experience with Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, MQTT, and TCP/IP communication stacks.
- Understanding of industrial communication architectures.
Hardware Interfaces & Microcontrollers:
- Hands-on experience interfacing sensors, actuators, displays, relays, and wireless modules.
- Experience with GPIO, ADC, DAC, PWM, Interrupts, Timers, and DMA.
- Knowledge of power management and battery-operated systems.
Debugging & Validation:
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Hands on experience using Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, JTAG Debuggers, UART Analyzers, Multimeters, and Power Analyzers.
- Ability to diagnose both hardware and firmware-related issues.
- Experience validating prototypes and supporting production testing.
Documentation & Reviews:
- Ability to review schematics, PCB layouts, and manufacturing files.
- Create technical documentation, design notes, test reports, and validation procedures.
- Participate in design reviews and provide improvement recommendations.
Hardware Design & Validation:
- Design, review, and validate electronic circuits, schematics, and PCB layouts for embedded products.
- Perform board bring-up, hardware debugging, component selection, and design optimization.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve hardware issues and improve product reliability.
