We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Government Business Manager to lead and manage government sales through GEM Portal and other e-Procurement platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in tender bidding, L1 creation, product listings, and full-cycle tender management.
- Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal operations
- Product listing, catalog management, and compliance with GEM policies
- Identifying relevant tenders/RFPs/RFQs and preparing competitive bids
- Drafting and submission of technical and financial bids, ensuring alignment with eligibility criteria
- Creating comparative L1 sheets and pricing strategies for bidding
- Coordination with internal teams (sales, finance, logistics) for tender documentation and execution
- Regular follow-up on bid status, clarification requests, and order conversion
- Relationship management with government procurement officials and departments
- Staying updated with latest changes and guidelines on GEM and government procurement norms
- Ensuring timely order fulfillment and documentation post order confirmation
- Maintain and generate reports on tender wins, losses, and pipeline
