We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical system design, development, and implementation. This role involves working on diverse projects, from conceptual design to final product realization, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality, and project timelines. You will be responsible for creating detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for various applications, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and bill of materials (BOM) using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and analyses (e.g., power consumption, voltage drop, short-circuit, load flow) to validate designs and optimize performance.
- Select appropriate electrical components, devices, and materials based on project requirements, cost-effectiveness, and availability.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate electrical designs into complete systems.
- Conduct design reviews, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to improve design quality and manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.
- Support the manufacturing, assembly, and testing phases of products, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes in electrical engineering to propose innovative solutions.
- Participate in risk assessments and ensure all designs meet safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical support to customers and sales teams as required.
