Job Summary
The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the manufacturing plant. The role ensures uninterrupted production by maintaining electrical equipment in a safe and efficient operating condition while complying with company safety standards and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in production machines and utility equipment.
- Install, test, commission, and maintain electrical wiring, panels, motors, transformers, and control circuits.
- Maintain LT electrical distribution systems and associated equipment.
- Inspect electrical panels, MCCs, DBs, switchgears, and control panels regularly.
- Repair or replace defective electrical components such as contactors, relays, MCBs, MCCBs, VFDs, PLC I/O modules, sensors, and cables.
- Perform routine maintenance of motors, pumps, compressors, DG sets, cooling towers, and utility equipment.
- Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety of all equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Assist in new machine installation and commissioning.
- Follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures before carrying out electrical maintenance.
- Ensure housekeeping in electrical rooms and work areas.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately and participate in safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- ITI Electrician (Mandatory)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in chemical, plastic, recycling, engineering, FMCG, or process industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
