The Role
As a Senior Piping Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ASME, API, IBR and other relevant codes and standards.
- Act as discipline lead for piping, covering layout, stress analysis, and materials engineering.
- Coordinate all piping design and equipment layout functions to meet project objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to Senior Engineers, Designers, and Draftspersons.
Specific Accountabilities
- Manage and organize the technical workload of the piping team in line with project schedules and milestones.
- Review and control piping deliverables including:
- Equipment Layouts
- Piping General Arrangements (GA)
- IsometricsPipe Support details
- Oversee and review piping stress analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance.
- Review and approve piping material specifications, PMS, and line lists.
- Identify and advise on resource requirements for the piping discipline.
- Collaborate with the CAD/3D team to establish efficient methods for modeling and drafting (E3D/SP3D/PDMS).
- Interface effectively with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors.
- Participate in model reviews, HAZOP, and design review meetings.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering (or relevant discipline).
- 12+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas / EPC industry.
- Piping Layout Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with:
- 3D tools – PDMS / E3D / SP3D.
