Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete import and export documentation process.
- Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agent) for customs clearance and shipment processing.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and logistics partners.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading
- Shipping Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- LC Documentation
- Track shipments and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Maintain records of import/export transactions and inventory movement.
- Communicate with international clients, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT norms, and international trade policies.
- Coordinate with banks regarding LC, advance payments, export incentives, and related documentation.
- Follow up with CHA for customs clearance, duty payments, examination status, and shipment release.
- Resolve shipment delays, customs clearance issues, and logistics-related concerns.
- Prepare MIS reports and shipment status updates.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of import/export procedures and international logistics.
- Understanding of customs documentation and shipping processes.
- Experience in coordinating with CHA and customs authorities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/software systems.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple shipments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Import Export Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in import/export operations or logistics coordination preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
