Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to educate and inspire students in Grades I–V. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in child-centered teaching methodologies, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to fostering academic excellence and holistic development in young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum.
- Teach core subjects, including English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS), and other assigned subjects.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate students' academic performance and overall development.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching-learning materials.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among students.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, report cards, and progress documentation.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, training programs, and extracurricular activities.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.
- Maintain classroom discipline while ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) along with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject.
- D.El.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification will also be considered as per school norms.
- CTET or State TET qualification is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a Primary School (Grades I–V).
- Experience in a CBSE, ICSE, or State Board school is preferred.
