About the Role:
We are seeking a highly competent and independent F&B Store & Purchase Incharge to completely manage the procurement and inventory operations for a premium resto-bar. As the sole head of this department, you will operate independently to control F&B costs, negotiate directly with vendors, and ensure seamless daily stock management without requiring upper-management supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independent Procurement: Take full ownership of sourcing and purchasing F&B supplies, premium liquor, and consumables at the most competitive market rates.
- End-to-End Inventory Control: Conduct rigorous daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits. Track all inward and outward movement to guarantee zero variance and prevent pilferage.
- Vendor & Credit Management: Independently negotiate pricing, manage vendor credit cycles, and build aggressive, professional relationships with local food and liquor distributors.
- Quality & Receiving: Serve as the final authority on inspecting all incoming deliveries for exact quality, quantity, and price accuracy against approved purchase orders.
- F&B Cost Control: Monitor par levels daily and enforce strict food and beverage cost margins, ensuring the venue never overstocks or runs out of critical items.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in F&B store management and purchasing. Prefered experience handling operations independently in a standalone premium resto-bar or high-volume hospitality venue.
- Knowledge: Deep, practical understanding of liquor inventory management, perishable food procurement, and F&B cost control metrics.
- Skills: High proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Petpooja, POS systems) and MS Excel. Must be a tough negotiator with zero tolerance for stock discrepancies.
