Job Title: Tekla Modeler
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
- Prepare fabrication, assembly, erection, GA (General Arrangement), and shop drawings.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings and specifications.
- Generate BOM (Bill of Materials), material take-offs, and project reports.
- Perform clash detection and resolve modeling issues.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and project teams.
- Review drawings for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
- Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) where design clarification is required.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining company and client standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tekla Structures.
- Structural steel detailing and modeling.
- Understanding of steel connections and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of AISC, or project-specific standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–5+ years of experience in Tekla modeling (depending on role).
Preferred Experience
- Modeling of beams, columns, braces, stairs, ladders, handrails, and miscellaneous steel.
- Preparation of single-part, assembly, and erection drawings.
- Knowledge of international standards (AISC, OSHA, AWS) is an advantage for overseas projects.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
