The Microsoft 365 Administrator is responsible for managing the smooth operation of global collaboration systems; responsible for technical support and management of a hybrid Office365 / Exchange environment; configuration, testing, and client support. Additional responsibilities include administration of all Microsoft Office 365 products including Azure, Teams, SharePoint, MDM and support for other collaboration applications within the environment.

System Administrator and Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft Office 365 including Exchange Online (Hybrid), Teams, MDM and other Office 365 applications

Manage email Services (Exchange / Exchange Online), establish and maintain O365 Exchange mailboxes, user accounts, distribution groups and establishes infrastructure mailbox constraints and advise on enterprise messaging policies

Responsible for On-prem Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Licensing and other identity management components

Office 365 Exchange Online administration (Domains, Policies, Transport Rules, Spam administration and Microsoft Defender etc.)

Office 365 service health monitoring, message tracing, reporting and management of service requests

Migration, troubleshooting, design and system delivery experience

Manage and develop Microsoft Teams and other related services such as One Drive and SharePoint

Responsible for the security and reliability of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365 systems and services and Exchange Online

Tracking and escalation of incidents with Office 365 technical support

Develop and maintain, consistent quality documentation to meet ongoing operations and business continuity requirements. Documentation will include system topologies, operating instructions, and disaster recovery procedures for new and changed infrastructure.

Lead or assist with internal projects associated with the supported technologies within the organization, evaluating, recommending, and assisting in implementation of new tools/technology.

Perform or assist in capacity/performance management, trend and error analysis to determine system changes required.

Recommend process improvement and automation through PowerShell scripting.

Demonstrable ability in managing/securing Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, Teams and Microsoft Azure Active Directory

Experience with Active Directory Domain Services and Exchange in a hybrid environment

Validated expertise in creation/management of transport rules & management of mail flow

Validated expertise in problem solving and troubleshooting mail related issues (server and client)

Knowledge of Exchange / O365 installation, upgrade, migration, configuration, testing, maintenance and support within a production environment

Experience with Enterprise MDM specifically Intune

Federated Services (ADFS/WAP) and Directory Synchronization (AADC/DirSync), eDiscovery

Proficient in PowerShell for system administration, automation and reporting

Excellent communication and written skills necessary for documentation and contributing to global team

Ability to provide technical direction and coordination to other teams while participating in the Change Control Process

Candidate should be eager to learn administration of the entire array of Office 365 products, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Groups and anything else that emerges

Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications and training

Minimum 8+ years of experience in Exchange / Exchange Online / O365 tenant management

Full time education in BE/B.Tech in CS/IT or BCA/MCA/M.Sc.IT from recognized university or institute in India
