Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Tactical Buyer In this role you will support the indirect buying process of a global Life Science customer by identifying and sourcing tactical buying projects. The role will likely work across a variety of categories so we will need to demonstrate a broad range of category knowledge and be able to work dynamically and flexibly with a broad range of Experts. Responsibilities: - Responsibilities: and Duties: - Sourcing of the indirect spend categories. - Rate and manage performance of suppliers ensure supplier performance of all contracts. - Ensuring that the services are as per the contracts. - Will have to scout for better suppliers and maintain supplier catalogs. - Will perform basic spend analytics in order to identify best available market price for the ongoing project. - Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers and stakeholders. - Will be responsible for savings targets timely deliveries customer satisfaction. - Will participate periodically to reviews with regional commodity managers to ensure strategies are aligned and pipeline activity is proceeding. - Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within the specified time scales. - Receipt and verification of purchase requisition from requestors. - Maintain contract templates and manage the contract approval flow of executed sourcing activities. - Ensure all activities are compliant with policies and procedures. - Develop and maintain templates and data library in collaboration with Customer. - Update / create standard operating procedures and process maps.
