Job Summary
Warehouse International Private Limited is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for our conveyor belt manufacturing and assembly line. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in conveyor assembly, mechanical fitting, alignment, and installation of conveyor components.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical fitting and assembly of conveyor systems and conveyor belt assemblies.
- Assemble conveyor frames, rollers, pulleys, shafts, bearings, brackets, supports, and other mechanical components.
- Carry out proper alignment, leveling, fitting, and installation of conveyor components.
- Read and understand basic mechanical/assembly drawings.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as spanners, drills, grinders, Allen keys, torque tools, etc.
- Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, tapping, and other fitting activities as required.
- Install and align bearings, shafts, couplings, rollers, pulleys, and related components.
- Identify and rectify mechanical fitting and alignment issues during assembly.
- Assist in conveyor testing, trial runs, and final inspection.
- Coordinate with production, welding, fabrication, and quality teams.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S and safety procedures on the shop floor.
- Ensure assembly work is completed according to quality standards and production schedules.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must have hands-on experience in conveyor belt assembly / conveyor manufacturing.
- Experience in assembling conveyor frames, rollers, pulleys, bearings, shafts, etc.
- Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and assembly procedures.
- Ability to use basic measuring instruments and mechanical tools.
- Ability to understand basic engineering/assembly drawings.
- Good knowledge of mechanical alignment and fitting.
- Experience in a manufacturing or OEM environment will be preferred.
Qualification
- ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Fitter preferred.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
