Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Specialist to join our SMTP Backbone Modernization program. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Unix/Linux infrastructure, SMTP relay architecture, email routing, and enterprise messaging platforms. This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and modernizing SMTP relay services hosted on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), ensuring secure, highly available, and scalable email infrastructure.
The candidate should possess strong knowledge of network technologies, security, automation, certificate management, monitoring, and open-source technologies supporting enterprise email environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the SMTP Backbone Modernization program, including planning, migration, implementation, and operational support.
- Design, implement, and administer SMTP relay infrastructure on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Manage enterprise email routing, SMTP relays, and message flow troubleshooting.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot open-source email solutions such as Sendmail.
- Perform Unix/Linux server administration, including installation, configuration, hardening, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Automate operating system patching, software updates, and certificate renewals using scripting and automation tools.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates using OpenSSL and ensure secure SMTP communication.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, firewall policies, DNS resolution, and SMTP-related issues.
- Work closely with network, security, and application teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Configure and maintain monitoring solutions for SMTP services, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
- Perform log analysis, system auditing, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning.
- Manage user authentication and directory integrations using LDAP and enterprise directory services.
- Support Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
- Develop operational documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical knowledge articles.
- Ensure infrastructure complies with enterprise security, governance, and audit requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per week
