Kubernetes Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Job Description
Role: Kubernetes SME
Location: Onsite – SBI Mumbai
Work Mode: Shift-based Support
Experience: 6–10+ Years
Role Summary
Provide hands-on support for Kubernetes platform operations, troubleshooting, deployments, and production issue resolution in a shift-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational support for Kubernetes clusters.
- Monitor cluster health, pods, services, ingress, storage, and nodes.
- Troubleshoot deployments, networking, DNS, certificates, and resource issues.
- Support deployments, rollbacks, scaling, and configuration changes.
- Work with DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, Network, and Application teams.
- Handle incidents, changes, RCA, upgrades, backup/restore, and maintenance.
- Manage RBAC, namespaces, ConfigMaps, Secrets, PV/PVC, StorageClasses.
- Support monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenSearch, Splunk.

Shift Expectations
Rotational shifts, weekend support if required, incident/problem/change management.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 4–5 years hands-on
Kubernetes/platform support experience
Pay: Up to ₹2,100,000.00 per year
