About the Role
Konstruct And Live Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled Software Developer with strong experience in Node.js and React Native, practical knowledge of AI technologies, and a quality-focused approach to software development and testing.
The ideal candidate should be able to develop backend services and cross-platform mobile applications, integrate AI-powered capabilities, and take ownership of software quality throughout the development lifecycle. This includes understanding requirements, writing clean code, testing applications, identifying defects, and supporting production releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Build cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS using React Native.
- Develop reusable React Native components and maintain clean mobile application architecture.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services, REST APIs, third-party services, and AI-powered features.
- Build and integrate AI capabilities using large language models, machine-learning APIs, automation tools, or similar technologies.
- Develop secure and reliable REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Create and execute unit, integration, API, regression, mobile, and end-to-end tests.
- Test React Native applications across different devices, operating systems, screen sizes, and network conditions.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing when required.
- Review requirements and identify missing scenarios, edge cases, usability issues, and technical risks.
- Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement reliable fixes.
- Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, safety, and relevance.
- Improve mobile application performance, responsiveness, stability, and user experience.
- Work closely with product, design, engineering, and quality teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Monitor application logs, errors, reliability, and production performance.
- Follow secure development and responsible data-handling practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1–5 years of professional software-development experience.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
- Good working knowledge of TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Node.js.
- Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, or similar.
- Hands-on experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
- Good understanding of React concepts such as components, hooks, state management, navigation, and application lifecycle.
- Experience integrating React Native applications with REST APIs and third-party services.
- Familiarity with Android and iOS application development, debugging, testing, and release processes.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.
- Practical experience integrating AI APIs, large language models, or machine-learning services into applications.
- Understanding of AI concepts such as prompt design, output validation, hallucination risks, latency, cost, and data privacy.
- Strong software-testing knowledge, including:
- Unit testing
- Integration testing
- API testing
- Mobile application testing
- Regression testing
- End-to-end testing
- Exploratory testing
- Test-case design
- Defect reporting and root-cause analysis
- Experience with testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium, Supertest, Postman, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Familiarity with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues and testing results clearly.
- Strong attention to quality, reliability, security, performance, and user experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React Native libraries and tools such as React Navigation, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Axios, or similar technologies.
- Experience publishing or supporting applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Familiarity with native Android or iOS development using Kotlin, Java, Swift, or Objective-C.
- Experience with platforms or frameworks such as OpenAI APIs, Google Gemini, Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, or structured AI outputs.
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, or message queues.
- Familiarity with application monitoring and observability tools.
- Understanding of performance testing and application security.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
