About Us
Agarwal Steel Enterprises is an authorised dealer for JSW, SAIL, and JSPL, serving the steel and infrastructure sector since 1988. We operate a Cut-to-Length (CTL) line and a 6kW laser cutting facility at Vichoor, and are part of the Agarwal Group, which includes Tirumalai Steels (ISO-certified sheet metal fabrication) and I ARQ Solutions (Pre-Engineered Buildings). We're a long-established business now building a modern marketing function from the ground up.
The Role
We're looking for our first dedicated Marketing Manager to own and grow the brand and lead pipeline across the group. This is a hands-on, build-it role — not managing an existing team, but creating the systems, content, and presence that bring in qualified B2B enquiries from builders, fabricators, EPC contractors, OEMs, and infrastructure developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for Agarwal Steel Enterprises (and support the wider group brands)
- Generate and nurture B2B leads through digital channels, referrals, and trade networks
- Manage and grow our digital presence: website, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and SEO
- Produce industrial marketing collateral — brochures, product catalogues, capability decks, case studies, and technical one-pagers
- Plan and execute participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events (e.g. steel, construction, infrastructure expos)
- Build and maintain a CRM / enquiry-tracking system; report on lead quality, conversion, and ROI
- Coordinate with the sales team to align messaging and follow up on enquiries
- Manage relationships with vendors — designers, agencies, printers, photographers, web developers
- Track competitor activity and market trends in the steel / fabrication / PEB space
Requirements
- 4–8 years of marketing experience, ideally in steel, metals, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, or another B2B/industrial sector
- Strong understanding of B2B lead generation and long sales cycles
- Hands-on skills in digital marketing (LinkedIn, SEO, Google Ads, email)
- Ability to write clear, professional content and brief designers effectively
- Experience with CRM tools and basic marketing analytics
- Self-starter comfortable building processes from scratch
- Fluent in English and Tamil; Hindi a plus
- Willingness to travel within Tamil Nadu to facilities and client sites
Nice to Have
- Prior experience marketing to the construction, EPC, or OEM segments
- Familiarity with technical/industrial product marketing
- Working knowledge of design tools (Canva/Adobe) or basic website CMS
