Job Summary**
The Quality Jr. Engineer at Jabil, Inc. supports the Quality Assurance team in maintaining product quality and ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal procedures. This entry-level role involves assisting with quality control activities, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities**
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control procedures and documentation.
- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data, identifying trends and potential issues.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality deviations.
- Participate in internal and external audits, helping to prepare documentation and follow up on findings.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related problems.
- Assist in the training of production personnel on quality standards and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and organized quality records and reports.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., SPC, 8D, FMEA) is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
