Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Developer to manage and enhance the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software assets within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM), including Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM), along with experience in workflow automation, asset reconciliation, compliance management, and operational excellence.
This role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining ITAM processes, improving asset visibility, ensuring audit readiness, and driving automation across asset lifecycle management.
Key ResponsibilitiesITAM Development & Automation
- Develop, configure, document, and maintain ServiceNow ITAM (SAM & HAM) workflows and processes.
- Design and implement automation using Flow Designer, Business Rules, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for ITAM processes and platform capabilities.
Asset Lifecycle Management
- Manage the complete lifecycle of software and hardware assets.
- Monitor software usage and identify opportunities for license optimization and reclamation.
- Track asset utilization, renewals, compliance, and lifecycle KPIs.
- Ensure accurate asset inventory and lifecycle governance.
Reconciliation & Compliance
- Perform regular hardware and software asset reconciliations.
- Manage software models, entitlement uploads, and license compliance activities.
- Conduct audits and remediation activities to ensure data quality and audit readiness.
- Support data certification and inventory management processes.
Discovery & Integrations
- Oversee discovery and reconciliation of IT assets within ServiceNow.
- Integrate ServiceNow with discovery tools and vendor systems.
- Support data normalization and asset data governance initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
- Create and maintain ITAM dashboards and performance analytics indicators.
- Generate compliance, utilization, and lifecycle reports for stakeholders.

Required Experience
- 4–8 years of overall ServiceNow experience.
- 4–8 years of hands-on ServiceNow ITAM experience.

- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and compliance.
- Experience with workflow automation and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with asset reconciliation and license management.
