About the Opportunity
Our online dance academy is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for enthusiastic Assistant Dance Teachers to join our remote team. We provide interactive virtual classes to a diverse global student base across multiple international time zones, bringing the joy of Bollywood dance directly to their homes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, connects well with learners of all skill levels, and is passionate about Bollywood music and dance.
What You’ll Do
You will assist in leading live online sessions—both one-on-one and group formats—designed to be energetic, interactive, and easy to follow. Because each student has different strengths and comfort levels, you will adapt your teaching style to match their pace. Your primary focus will be on driving engagement, building confidence, and ensuring a highly positive experience through Bollywood dance.
Key Responsibilities
- Class Support: Assist in conducting structured online Bollywood dance classes.
- Adaptable Teaching: Help modify choreography or lesson flow to suit the abilities of individual learners.
- Foster Positivity: Create a warm, welcoming, and motivating virtual class environment.
- Constructive Feedback: Offer simple, clear, and encouraging feedback to help students grow and improve their technique.
- Professionalism: Ensure classes run smoothly with excellent communication, energy, and punctuality.
Who We’re Looking For
- Expertise: Strong foundation and capability in Bollywood dance.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience teaching, assisting, or performing dance (online teaching experience is a great bonus).
- Audience Management: Highly comfortable and patient when conducting sessions for a diverse virtual classroom.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English.
- Tech Setup (Must-Have): Must have a reliable computer/laptop, a stable high-speed internet connection, and a proper audio/microphone setup for music playback.
Work Schedule & Mode
- Schedule Flexibility: Flexible scheduling options available throughout the week and weekends.
- Workload: Instructors usually teach 4 to 5 hours a day depending on their availability and batch allocation. Both part-time and full-time options are open.
- Work Mode: 100% remote position.
