Job Summary
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the Spinning, Weaving, and Sizing departments, ensuring smooth production, quality standards, machine efficiency, safety compliance, and manpower management to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities in Spinning, Weaving, and Sizing sections.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Allocate manpower efficiently and maintain proper shift planning.
- Ensure yarn, beam, and raw material availability for uninterrupted production.
- Monitor product quality and take corrective actions for defects or process deviations.
- Ensure SOPs, safety rules, and PPE usage are followed by all employees.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the production area.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning departments for smooth operations.
- Prepare daily production reports, efficiency reports, and shift handover records.
- Train and guide operators and helpers to improve productivity and quality.
- Reduce wastage and improve machine utilization and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Spinning, Weaving, and Sizing processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Knowledge of production planning and quality control.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP, or production software preferred).
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. in Textile Technology or related field.
- Candidates with relevant production experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in Spinning, Weaving, or Sizing operations.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Pay: ₹8,873.68 - ₹34,487.85 per month
