We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our fleet operations by managing critical procurement and technical workflows. You will play a vital role in ensuring our vessels remain seaworthy, compliant, and fully equipped for their journeys across the globe.
- Coordinate class and flag surveys to ensure vessel seaworthiness and commercial readiness.
- Prepare draft specifications for vessel modifications to meet statutory requirements.
- Source and obtain approval for contractors and pricing for specialized repair and service work.
- Support superintendents with dry-docking planning, budget compiling, and invoice closure.
- Monitor and maintain the validity of all vessel trading certificates and safety documentation.
- Issue purchase orders and manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for spares and provisions.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality service standards.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods to vessels.
- Maintain accurate office records, including supply logs and vessel expense reports.
- Enforce company policies and ISO procedures across all technical and purchasing activities.
- Minimum a diploma in any discipline
- At least one year of experience as a Technical Executive or in a purchasing role within shipping
- Strong foundational knowledge of technical, purchasing, and logistics processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- A natural flair for numbers and budget tracking
- Familiarity with ISO procedures and maritime regulatory requirements
