About the Role
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Drone Technicians to join our growing team. Applications are invited from both freshers with a passion for drones and electronics and experienced professionals with relevant industry experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for assembling, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting drone systems using supplied components. The role requires a strong focus on quality, precision, and ensuring that each drone is fully functional and ready for customer delivery or field deployment.
Key Responsibilities
· Receive and inspect drone components against the Bill of Materials (BOM).
· Assemble complete drone systems, including airframe, motors, ESCs, flight controller, GPS, cameras, antennas, batteries, and other payloads.
· Perform soldering, wiring, cable management, and mechanical integration.
· Configure and calibrate flight controllers, radio systems, GPS modules, telemetry units, and other onboard electronics.
· Conduct functional testing, calibration, pre-flight inspections, and quality checks.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, electrical, and assembly-related issues.
· Maintain assembly records, test reports, and production documentation.
· Ensure all drones comply with quality and safety standards before dispatch.
· Assist in prototype development, repairs, maintenance, and field testing as required.
· Maintain tools, equipment, workstations, and inventory in a clean and organized manner.
· Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), ESD practices, and workplace safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
· ITI or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical field.
· Freshers with relevant academic projects, internships, or hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
· Basic understanding of electronics, mechanical assembly, and wiring.
· Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, and the use of hand tools.
· Familiarity with multimeters and basic electronic test equipment.
· Ability to read assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
· Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
· Basic computer proficiency for documentation and configuration tasks.
· Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience in any of the following areas will be given preference:
· Drone/UAV assembly, integration, and maintenance
· FPV drones and RC aircraft systems
· Flight controllers such as ArduPilot, PX4, Betaflight, or INAV
· Integration of ESCs, motors, GPS, telemetry, cameras, and radio communication systems
· LiPo/Li-ion battery handling, charging, and safety procedures
· Electronics manufacturing, product assembly, or hardware testing
