Job Description: Sales Manager
is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding business opportunities, and leading the sales team for an event management company. This role focuses on acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, increasing profitability, and ensuring sales targets are achieved across corporate events, weddings, exhibitions, conferences, and other event services.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
· Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships.
· Manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Lead, train, and motivate the sales team.
· Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
· Oversee proposals, presentations, and event sales pitches.
· Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams for smooth event execution.
· Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
· Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize profits.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
· 5–6 years of sales/business development experience, preferably in event management, hospitality, or MICE industry.
· Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Experience in managing corporate / Wedding clients and large-scale events.
· Knowledge of CRM software and sales tools.
