Sovereign Minds Academy is expanding its online teaching team and is looking for enthusiastic AI Coding Educators to teach students from 40+ international countries, including young learners from different age groups and backgrounds.
If you have hands-on experience teaching AI coding, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or AI-based programming concepts to children or young learners and are comfortable teaching technical concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate way, we'd love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For
- Strong working knowledge of AI coding and programming concepts, including basic programming logic, variables, conditions, loops, functions, data handling, AI concepts, machine learning fundamentals, computer vision, image/face/hand recognition, and other AI concepts appropriate for young learners.
- Ability to teach AI through practical activities, coding exercises, interactive projects, games, AI experiments, and hands-on programming tasks.
- Previous experience teaching AI coding, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related programming concepts to children or young learners.
- Familiarity with using coding platforms, AI tools, or programming environments to create interactive AI-based projects.
- Ability to explain how AI works in a simple and age-appropriate manner, including concepts such as training, recognition, detection, classification, automation, and AI decision-making.
- Excellent spoken English and the ability to communicate clearly with international students, including students accustomed to American English.
- Ability to explain technical and AI concepts in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.
- Comfortable working independently in an online teaching environment.
- Candidates will be assessed on their AI coding knowledge and teaching approach during the selection process.
Technical Setup
Since classes are conducted online, you should have:
- A Windows 10 laptop or compatible Windows setup.
- Reliable, high-speed internet with a minimum upload speed of 25 Mbps.
- A working webcam.
- Wired noise-cancelling earphones/headphones.
Work Schedule
This is a flexible part-time or full-time remote opportunity.
Teachers can choose their availability based on the slots they select. Candidates should be comfortable taking classes during late-night or early-morning hours when required, particularly to accommodate students based in the United States and other international locations.
This opportunity may involve US-shift or night-shift teaching hours, depending on student demand and the availability provided by the teacher.

Selection Process
Applicants are expected to provide complete and accurate information during the application process. The application questions are an important part of the initial screening, so please make sure every required question is answered.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit a 3-minute self-introduction video covering specific points shared during the selection process.
The video and application responses will be used to assess your communication skills, teaching background, AI coding knowledge, and overall suitability for the role.
Candidates may also be assessed on their ability to explain AI and coding concepts in a way that is suitable, practical, and engaging for children and young learners.

This role is specifically focused on teaching AI coding to children and young learners, so applicants should be comfortable simplifying technical concepts and turning them into interactive, visual, and project-based learning experiences.
Applicants should ideally have practical experience creating or teaching AI-powered projects, rather than only having theoretical knowledge of artificial intelligence.
