Position: MEP Engineer
Job Summary:
✓KPS Interiors and Modulars Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for commercial and interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, quality control, and site supervision of MEP works while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. MEP engineers typically oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and related building services throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
✓Review MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
✓Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
✓Supervise installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
✓Monitor site progress and ensure execution as per approved drawings and standards.
✓Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
✓Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
✓Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
✓Prepare project reports, material requisitions, and work schedules.
✓Verify contractor bills and maintain project documentation.
✓Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical support. These responsibilities align with common MEP engineering roles in construction and interior projects.
Required Skills:
✓Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
✓Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
✓Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
✓Good project coordination and communication skills.
✓Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
✓Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
Required Qualifications:
✓B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
✓3–4 years of experience in MEP execution, preferably in commercial interiors, fit-out, or construction projects.
✓Experience in site coordination and project execution is preferred.
Preferred Candidate:
✓Experience in commercial interior fit-out projects.
✓Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
✓Immediate joiners will be preferred.
