Position Summary
The Kitchen Helper supports chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards. This role ensures smooth kitchen operations by assisting with basic cooking tasks, ingredient preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities Food Preparation Support
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits.
- Assist in basic food preparation as instructed by the chef.
- Measure and organize ingredients before cooking.
- Prepare simple dishes under supervision (if required).
- Support in plating and garnishing when needed.
- Cleaning & Hygiene
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
- Ensure garbage is disposed of properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Kitchen Support
- Assist chefs during busy service hours.
- Ensure availability of clean utensils and cooking tools.
- Follow kitchen safety guidelines and use equipment properly.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience
- Minimum High School education preferred.
- Previous experience in kitchen or food service is an advantage.
- Freshers can apply (on-the-job training provided).
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours.
- Teamwork and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
