Key Responsibilities
- Material Receiving
- Receive Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, consumables and other materials.
- Verify quantity, material name, batch/lot number and supporting documents against the Purchase Order and delivery documents.
- Coordinate with QC/QA for material sampling and approval before use.
- Ensure proper GRN preparation and system entry.
- Material Storage
- Ensure proper storage of materials as per defined storage conditions.
- Maintain proper identification, labeling and segregation of materials.
- Maintain separate areas for Approved, Quarantine, Rejected and Returned materials.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and pest-control practices in the store.
- Material Issuance
- Issue RM/PM to Production against authorized material requisitions.
- Verify material name, quantity, batch number and status before issuance.
- Maintain proper records of all material issues and returns.
- Ensure batch-wise traceability of materials.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory.
- Conduct regular stock verification and cycle counts.
- Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged materials and slow-moving/obsolete stock.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Management regarding minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Documentation & Records
- Maintain GRN, stock registers, material issue slips, return records and other store documents.
- Maintain proper batch/lot-wise records.
- Ensure all store records are updated on time and are readily available for audits.
- Maintain records related to material expiry and retesting, wherever applicable.
- ERP/System Work
- Enter material receipts, issues, returns and stock adjustments in the ERP/software.
- Ensure system stock matches physical stock.
- Generate inventory and stock-related reports as required.
- Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase, QC, QA, Production, PPC, Accounts and Management for smooth material movement.
- Inform concerned departments about shortages, rejected materials, expired materials and pending receipts.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safe handling and storage of cosmetic raw materials and chemicals.
- Follow company SOPs, GMP requirements and applicable safety procedures.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe movement of materials within the store.
- Support internal, customer and regulatory audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in Stores/Warehouse, preferably in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, FMCG or chemical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Raw Material and Packaging Material management.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, inventory control and batch traceability.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/software and MS Excel.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage store operations independently.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
