About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support our Sales Application Engineering team in Asia Pacific. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage project-related ERP processes and ensure the accuracy and quality of business-critical project data from order booking through project execution.
The role works closely with project coordinators, sales teams, technology specialists, and business management to ensure compliance with company processes, financial reporting requirements, and data quality standards.
In addition to ERP and project coordination responsibilities, the successful candidate will participate in sales application engineering activities together with the wider team, gaining exposure to technical sales support, opportunity development, and business planning processes.
For individuals who demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and business impact, the role offers a potential future pathway into a formal Team Lead position within the Sales Application Engineering organization.
Key Responsibilities
ERP and Project Coordination (Primary Responsibility)
- Manage the booking of received orders into the ERP system, ensuring all project data and attributes are accurate and compliant with company requirements.
- Support project coordinators in maintaining ERP data throughout project execution.
- Ensure compliance with revenue recognition principles, internal and international trade policies, and company financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and consistency within ERP and related business systems.
- Support the resolution of project data issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely updates and corrections.
Sales Application Engineering Support
- Participate in sales funnel reviews, opportunity tracking, and sales process activities together with the Sales Application Engineering team.
- Support technical feasibility evaluations of sales opportunities in collaboration with global experts and stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining the accuracy and quality of sales opportunity data within CRM systems.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of commercial and technical documentation as required.
Business and Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with regional sales teams, product sales, project execution teams, and technology unit management.
- Support sales volume forecasting and business planning initiatives as part of the wider team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project coordination, ERP processes, and sales application workflows.
Qualifications and Experience
Required
- Relevant technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with ERP systems and business process coordination.
- Experience working in an international environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborative and proactive working style with the ability to engage effectively with teams across the Asia Pacific region.
Preferred
- Experience in project coordination, project execution, technical sales support, or site operations.
- Understanding of sales-related financial metrics and reporting principles.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition practices and international business processes.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales processes.
